Choose from 11 precision-formulated polyurethane hardnesses, from a softer response through balanced feedback, a firmer hit, and break or jump experimentation.

Standard size: 15 mm × 8.0 mm. Small-batch inventory ships when available; backordered hardnesses are normally made within 48 hours.

Choose by feel.

Polydigm gives you 11 polyurethane durometers in 2.5A steps. Start near the response you already prefer, then move softer or firmer as you learn what changes the hit for you.

There is no universal best hardness. The range is the point.

75A–80A

Start here for the softest feel and response in the Polydigm range.

82.5A–87.5A

A balanced starting range for players comparing feel and cue-ball feedback.

90A–95A

A firmer hit with faster rebound response.

97.5A–100A

The firmest options, intended for break and jump experimentation.

Standard size: 15 mm × 8.0 mm
One non-layered polyurethane material through the contact area.

The material work began in high-performance skateboarding, where durometer, rebound, durability, and repeatability are deliberate design variables. Polydigm applies that same experimental mindset to cue tips and continues refining the product through real-world play.

Common questions

Which hardness should I choose?

Start with 75A–80A for the softest feel and response, 82.5A–87.5A for a balanced feel and feedback, or 90A–95A for a firmer hit and faster rebound. The 97.5A–100A range is intended for break and jump experimentation.

What are Polydigm tips made from?

Polydigm tips are made from precision-formulated polyurethane. They are non-layered and contain no animal products.

What size is each tip?

The standard Polydigm tip is 15 mm in diameter and 8.0 mm tall.

What happens if my selected hardness is backordered?

Orders are filled from small-batch shelf inventory when available. A backordered tip is normally manufactured within 48 hours before the order is prepared for shipment.

Where can I find shipping and return information?

Available shipping charges are shown during checkout. Return terms are maintained on the Refund Policy page.

POLYDIGM tips are offered across a 75A–100A polyurethane spectrum. Because urethane behaves differently than leather, these ranges are intended as practical starting points rather than exact one-to-one comparisons.

75A–80A

Softest feel / soft response

Best starting range for players chasing more cue ball engagement, softer impact feel, and spin-heavy experimentation.

Approx. leather territory: Super Soft to Soft

82.5A–87.5A

Balanced feel and control

A good all-around playing range for players wanting control, feedback, and a less extreme transition from traditional tips.

Approx. leather territory: Soft-Medium to Medium

90A–95A

Firm response / faster rebound

Built for a crisper hit, reduced compression, and more direct energy transfer while still remaining in playing-tip territory.

Approx. leather territory: Medium-Hard to Hard

97.5A–100A

Break / jump experimentation

The firmest end of the range. Intended for maximum energy transfer, minimal deformation, and specialty break or jump testing.

Approx. territory: Very Hard / specialty tips
